Blog #10: Importance of H2O

The human body is made out of 75% of water. The average amount of drinking water per day is at least 7 cups a day. Drinking water has numerous benefits for the human body. That's why it's required for people to drink water every single day. Drinking water is the best drink that people could ever have. It can hydrate the body, gives energy, is very good for exercising, and has other countless benefits. Drinking water will always top other drinks like juices, sodas, smoothies, and other drinks. In fact, some other drinks can be unhealthy. Sodas, smoothies, milkshakes, and some other juices are filled with sugar and caffeine. Too much sugar can lead to diabetes, and caffeine can lead to a heart attack. Some people decide these sugary drinks instead of water because they love the drinks' tastes. However, drinking too much of them can harm the body. Besides, they don't hydrate the body and don't have good benefits as water. This is why water is the best option. It's the source of life for a human. And not just humans, it's also a source of life for animals, plants, and other organisms. Always drink your water to be in good shape and have a blessed life.

  1. I agree that water is very important. Water is actually my favorite thing to drink and I appreciate the benefits it has. I stopped drinking soda because of how much sugar it contains and how it can be bad for you. I like how you stated that water can not only be beneficial to humans but can also be good for animal, plants, and organisms.

  2. 7 cups a day?! I am really falling behind on drinking water, I always choose coffee or soda over water which is incredibly unhealthy. You're right though, I need to stop because they have no nutritional benefits and are bad for my health.

  3. Hi Zain, When someone says water is life they mean it. It blows my mind thinking about the amount of deaths from dehydration.
